Terms And Conditions

The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Harefield Cabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Definitions

1.1 "Harefield Cabs," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" pertain to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

Booking

2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival. This applies to all airport transfers where adherence to specific check-in times is required for your flight. Harefield Cabs shall not be held liable for any delays arising from inadequate time allocation or if you are not prepared to be collected at the designated time.

2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle size that accommodates all passengers and luggage. Harefield Cabs does not guarantee the carriage of an excessive amount of luggage. Please note that regardless of a child's age, they will be considered a single passenger.

2.3 Individuals requiring wheelchair access should specify this during the booking process.

Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you. Unless otherwise stated, all prices exclude VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price in the event of substantial changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quote encompasses a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time, inclusive of airport parking charges. Any waiting time beyond this period will be subject to the standard Harefield Cabs waiting rate. While we endeavor to monitor flight details and adjust our service in cases of delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please carefully review this confirmation to ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Harefield Cabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be held responsible.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.

The Service

4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. A cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted by a passenger.

4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.

4.3 Children in the vehicle must be appropriately restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance regulations and cannot exceed the specified passenger limit.

Cancellations

5.1 In the event of a cancellation, please notify Harefield Cabs as soon as possible. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur a charge based on the distance and time covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you cancel prior to dispatch (for bookings made through our online system), a charge may apply to the original payment.

Liability

6.1 While Harefield Cabs strives to ensure punctual arrivals, we are not liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances shall Harefield Cabs be held responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a vehicle breakdown during your journey, we will make every effort to arrange an alternative vehicle for your prompt continuation.

6.4 You agree not to hold Harefield Cabs liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from actions or omissions of any individual in your party.

6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

Termination

7.1 We retain the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

8.1 Harefield Cabs may subcontract obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of your rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 Harefield Cabs reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Please regularly review these terms to stay informed of any updates. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Harefield Cabs and yourself.

8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer benefits or advantages upon third parties. No third party is granted the right to enforce rights under this agreement unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days from the date of the booked pickup. Harefield Cabs is not obligated to entertain claims or disputes filed after this time frame.
